Robyn Savitzky is an active performer, teacher, orchestral, and chamber musician. She received her Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Miami's Frost School of Music in 2015. At Frost, Robyn was a Teaching Assistant and Henry Mancini Institute Fellow. While a master's student at Indiana University, she played with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, Terre Haute and Carmel Symphony Orchestras. In 2009/2010 she was employed as a string quartet musician by Celebrity Cruise Lines.

An avid chamber musician, Robyn has attended festivals such as Meadowmount, the St. Lawrence String Quartet’s summer seminar at Stanford, LyricaFest, and Garth Newel. Robyn enjoys teaching both violin and viola to students of all ages. She has held a Teaching Artist assistantship through the Brooklyn Philharmonic outreach and taught for Frost MusicReach. Currently, Robyn teaches private violin and viola students throughout the Miami region, in the Community Arts Program, and as a Teaching Artist for the Miami Music Project, where she leads the Liberty City beginning strings ensemble and viola sectionals. 

Robyn received her Artist Diploma from the University of Miami, her MMus from Indiana University, and her BMus from NYU where she studied viola with Stephanie Baer and violin with Anton Miller.
